Huginn and Muninn are Odin’s ravens. At dawn Odin sends out his trusted companions to fly to all corners of the world and gather information. In the early hours they return to Odin, sit on his shoulders and tell him what they have seen and heard – and hence Odin keeps his title of all-knowing.
